About Civilization
Civilization is a world strategy game (no, not war strategy, world strategy.) The only objective of the game is to rule your civilization the way you want to. For example, if you want to rule the world, your objective is to blow away any adversary that stands in your way. If you want to make a lot of money, you create a hole heap of settlements, make the people in those settlements happy, set up as many trade routs as possible, and chiefly squeeze every last shield out of the people around you. If you want to be the most advanced civilization in the world, you set up enough towns which can support scientists, and make them work day and night by giving them as much money as possible. If you want to be the happiest civilization in the world, you give all the people in your towns everything they ever wanted and more, and they will have great celebrations of great happiness in your honour. Or, hardest of all, you can try to make history as it really happened. You can do all you like, whatever you like and more.
As far as history is concerned, this game is 200% wrong. Concerning evolution: it's wrong. Concerning creation: it's wrong. Concerning clothing: it's wrong. Concerning city names: it's mostly wrong. Concerning tribal names: it's mostly wrong. There are many, many, many, many, and many things which are not accurate to reality, that's the fun of it: It's a stupid game, and not meant to be taken seriously (like all games.)
I'm afraid that I can't (or won't) put up instructions on how to play the game. You see I learnt how to play this game by experimentation, and any experienced game player will do the same, so if you have absolutely no idea of how to work the interface, that's just your tough luck. To write an on-line manual would take me days and days of writing, and even then I would have not written all the "ins and outs" of the game. So as far as a manual is concerned, ITS TOO HARD TO WRITE UP HERE. But if you think you could work it all out, go ahead, there is nothing wrong with trying as far as I am concerned. Just at least try and have a bit of fun, ok.
